Simone Biles

Simone Biles (born on March 14, 1997 Columbus Ohio U.S.A.) American Gymnast considered one the sport's most outstanding athletes. Biles was the very first gymnast from the United States in history to have won four gold medals at the same Games. At Rio de Janeiro, she also became the first woman to have won successive World All-Around championships. Biles as well as her younger sister Adria were conceived by Ronald Biles and Nellie Biles the grandparents of Spring Texas (in the Houston region) were raised there. Simone began to take an interest in the sport of gymnastics as a young girl when she took a field trip for day care in Bannon's Gymnastix and remained there for eleven years under the guidance of her instructor Aimee Boorman. Biles was awarded gold and bronze medals at the women's Junior Olympic National Championships 2010 in floor and vault prior to her first appearance in 2011 with the elite category of the competition. In just two short years, she became the top athlete in her field. Biles stood out for her consistency in performance, vivacious personality as well as the difficulty she encountered at all four events such as vaulting, uneven bars, and the balance beam.
