Star Trek Star Trek Into Darkness, Avatar and The Curse of the Black Pearl. The ballet dancer who trained Saldana began her career as an actor. She performed in numerous plays in the company of FACES and New York Youth theatre group before making an entry into the cinema world by directing the film Center Stage. Saldana is an accomplished actress with an extensive list of films which are among the top grossing across the globe. Her versatility is what sets her apart against other actresses. Saldana isn't confined to a particular genre and she has appeared in effortless acting in films that cover a wide range of themes ranging from romantic comedy and tragedy sci-fi science fiction, drama and so on. It's her unwavering focus and focus that has allowed her to play an amazing variety of characters. Zoe Saldana has a brilliant executive mind as well as being an actor.
