Amber Benson is a talented American actor who has performed as a writer, singer producer, director, and writer. Her most famous role is as Tara Maclay, in the TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Alongside that, she has directed, produced and starred for her own films Chance and Lovers Liars & Lunatics. Also, she starred in Kiss the Bride. Benson was born on the 8th of January 1977, in Birmingham Alabama the daughter of Diane and Edward Benson a psychiatrist. Danielle is her sister who is also an artist. Benson has a father who is Jewish as is her mother Southern Baptist was raised in an Alabama Reform synagogue. The career of Benson has continued to flourish following the ending of Buffy. She was in films like The Killing Jar, and shows like Morganville The Series. Benson also utilised her talents as a writer on the Ghosts of Albion Series and was the director of Drones in the year 2010.
