A.J. Cook is known best as an Canadian actor for her roles as a character in The Virgin Suicides (1998) and Final Destination 2(2003). After competing in numerous dancing competitions, she began acting when she turned 17 years old. Dirty Dancing, starring Patrick Swayze, inspired Cook to pursue a career as an actor. Cook got married to her boyfriend Nathan Andersen in August 2001. The couple first met Nathan Andersen at Utah Valley University in Utah Valley University, where she studied a film class.
